2012 CES Brand Keynote Panel Features Leaders From Top Global Brands

Executives from AT&T, Facebook, GE, Hyundai, MediaLink, Unilever and Walmart Join CES Keynote Lineup


Arlington, Va., December 20, 2012 – The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® today announced that AT&T's  David Christopher, General Electric's (GE) Beth Comstock, Facebook's Carolyn Everson, Walmart's Stephen Quinn, Hyundai's Steve Shannon and Unilever's Keith Weed will join the 2012 International CES® keynote line-up as participants in the Brand Keynote Panel. Owned and produced by CEA, the 2012 International CES®, the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow, is scheduled January 10-13, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

ETA International Heads to Las Vegas

ETAInternational will be heading to Las Vegas, Nevada in January to exhibit at the2012 International CES

Greencastle,Indiana – December 15, 2011 – Electronics Technicians Association International(ETA) is proud to be exhibiting at the 2012 International Consumer ElectronicsShow (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada, January 10-13, 2012.

TheInternational CES is owned and produced by the Consumer Electronics Association(CEA) and is the largest consumer technology trade show in the world. The 2012International CES will feature more than 2,700 exhibitors across the 1.7million net square feet of exhibit space.

Attendeescan visit the ETA booth, number 5007, in the North Hall of the Las VegasConvention Center. ETA will be showcasing its newest certifications and willhave representatives available to provide information and answer questionsregarding any of the 70+ ETA certifications.

ETAis eager to introduce CES attendees to the new certifications recently added toETA’s line-up of electronics-related certifications. “We are proud to introduceour newest certifications: Electric Vehicle Technician (EVT), Gaming andVending Technician (GVT), Technician in Precision Optics (TPO), PhotonicsTechnician Operator (PTO), and Passive Intermodulation Testing (PIM) at the2012 CES,” said Teresa Maher, President, Electronics Technicians AssociationInternational (ETA). “With the reputation of being a cutting-edge consumer techshow, CES is the perfect venue for introducing the new ETA certifications inemerging technologies…” These certifications were brought on-board to meet thedemands of some new and very exciting career fields.

Panasonic and Campus MovieFest Partner for Inaugural UK Tour and London Grand Finale

Campus MovieFest UK culminates on 4 December at Harold Pinter Theatre with incredible prizes, great exposure opportunities, and special presenters

(LONDON, ENGLAND) – 1 December, 2011 – Campus MovieFest (CMF), the world’s largest student film festival, concludes its inaugural UK tour with the CMF London Grand Finale on Sunday the 4th of December at 7pm at the Harold Pinter Theatre. The Grand Finale showcases the top short movies created by UK student filmmakers, with special presenters awarding prizes including trips to Campus MovieFest Hollywood this summer. Confirmed presenters include Oscar-winner Paul Franklin and Emmy-winner Shohreh Aghdashloo.

CMF has provided nearly 10,000 students in the UK over the past two months with everything they needed to make five minute movies in a week all for free – including Apple MacBook Pro laptops loaded with Final Cut Pro and iMovie, Panasonic HDC-SD90 Full High Definition camcorders, and support. Students participated in on-campus events at eight universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, University of Westminster, University of the Arts London, London School of Economics, University College London, King’s College, and University of Sussex. In addition, student filmmakers from dozens of other universities in the UK participated online.
