Record Number of Automotive Exhibitors to Showcase Technology at the 2012 International CES

Detroit, MI., October 31, 2011 – The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)®, owner and producer of the International CES, the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow, announced today its record number of automotive exhibitors at the upcoming 2012 International CES. At least six of the industry’s top ten manufacturers will showcase their latest technologies among CES' enhanced lineup of automotive technology exhibits, TechZones and conference sessions. The 2012 International CES will run January 10-13, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Many of the most innovative automotive technologies make their debut at the International CES®, and the 2012 show will continue this tradition. More than six of the top ten manufacturers and other automotive tech companies at the 2012 CES will span more than 95,000 net square feet of exhibit space, up 10 percent over last year’s in-vehicle tech presence. This year, vehicle OEMs account for nearly two-thirds of $9.3 billion in wholesale industry shipments for in-vehicle technology. Audi, Chrysler, Ford, GM/Onstar, Kia, and Mercedes all will showcase their latest technologies on the CES show floor.

Intel's Paul Otellini to Deliver Keynote Address at the 2012 International CES

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® announced today that Paul Otellini, president and chief executive officer of Intel Corporation, will deliver a keynote address at the 2012 International CES®. Owned and produced by CEA, the 2012 International CES is the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow and will be held January 10-13 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Otellini will deliver his keynote address on Day One of the 2012 CES, Tuesday, January 10, at 4:30 p.m. in The Venetian.

Eliza Dushku Named Ambassador for 2012 CES Entertainment Matters Program

Arlington, Va., October 27, 2011 – The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® announced today that actress Eliza Dushku will join the Entertainment Matters Program as the Entertainment Matters Ambassador at the 2012 International CES®. Back for a second year, Entertainment Matters at CES is designed by and for Hollywood’s film, television and digital communities. Owned and produced by CEA, the 2012 International CES, the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow, will be held Tuesday, January 10-Friday, January 13, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a part of her ambassadorship, Dushku will contribute to Spike TV’s “CES All Access Live” broadcast coverage throughout CES and will also host the network’s exclusive VIP CES party at Tryst Nightclub in the Wynn Las Vegas.
